Jay Follet has passed away on May 15th 1945. He was 35 years old. Jay was born on September 4th 1910. He died at an early age due to being in a car accident. Jay loved spending time with his family and friends. Jay did struggle with alcohol but his family was always there to support him. Jay’s funeral will be at the Knoxville Funeral home this Sunday at 1:30 pm. All are welcome to come.

Mary Follet has passed away on October 15th 1975. She was 65. Mary was born on May 21st, 1910. She will know join her late husband that left us to soon due to a car accident. Mary died from old age. She was a loving person, a dedicated mother, and a helpful person in her church community. Mary’s funeral will be held at the Catholic church this Wednesday at 3:00 pm with a dinner following in her memory.

Walter Starr has left us. He passed on June 15th 1955. Not very long after the passing of his beloved friend, Jay Follet. Walter was born on November 25th 1913. He was 42 when he passed. Walter was a loving friend and loved spending time with kids. He was a very adventurous man and love to try new things. He will be missed. There will be a dinner held at Walter’s home in honor of him at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.

Hannah lynch has sadly passed away. She passed on July 3rd, 1967. She was born on August 15th, 1897, she was 70 years old. Hannah was a very caring person. People remember Hannah as always being their for her family. She loved the lord and is now gone to join him. Hannah will be deeply missed by her church community. Hannah’s funeral will be held at the Catholic Church this coming Thursday at 2:46 pm. All are welcome to attend.

A: “ I wrote the book purely off of my own experiences with my own father dying in a car crush.”

Q: So are you originally from Knoxville Tennessee?

A: Yes, yes I am I grew up there.

Q: So did you farther your education after high school?

A; Yes. I actually Graduated from Harvard University.

Q: So you were a film critic for awhile. How was that?

A: I really enjoyed it actually. I just wasn’t very well known for it.

Q: What made you want to start writing?

A: What first got me into writing was the story of my father and his death. I wanted to tell my story but not from my only prospective. I wanted to write it from my families prospective.

This book deserves to be on the college book list. This book has many elements that make it belong on the list. The reading level is high enough and the elements of the book are a bit challenging when it comes to figuring out the relationships with people. Some of the references in the book are also hard to understand like, “And somewhat as in blind night, on a mild sea, a sailor may be made aware of an iceberg, fanged and mortal, bearing invisibly near, by the unwarned charm of its breath, nothingness now revealed itself: that permanent night upon which the stars in their expiring generations are less than the glinting of gnats, and nebulae, more trivial than winter breath; that darkness in which eternity lies bent and pale, a dead snake in a jar, and infinity is the sparkling of a wren blown out to sea; that inconceivable chasm of invulnerable silence in which cataclysms of galaxies rave mute as amber.”  That quote is one that someone find to be pretty hard.

The book was great! I just don’t think it was good enough to be on the college list. There are many things. Like how the plot wasn’t very challenging to understand. I also think it should’ve made it were you get attached to the character. Also, the plot wasn’t very exciting. Got to put a bit more action in it. Religion was a nice touch but I feel like it is a pretty touchy subject. Although the point of religion does add a nice touch. I honestly think that the challenging words and the talk a of religion are the only things that make it college list acceptable.

Dear Editor,

I really wasn’t around for long to make the reader become attached to me. I feel like if I was around longer the reader would really feel the emotion of having to lose someone. I also think that it would help the reader understand the relationships and the conflict more. If I would’ve stayed around longer then the reader could make more connections to the people that they have lost and how their family reacted. Everyone has lost someone they loved so if the reader knew more about me and how I really was so they can really dig deep and understand the book emotionally and mentally. Welcome to the sports section. Today we will be going over a big fight between the need for religion and loss. These two things play a big part in the story “A death in the Family”. The conflict is really dealing with religion. The lose of Jay helped Mary get back into her catholic beliefs. Which causes the family to fight.

The family doesn’t just fight over the main reason of religion but other things. Jay’s death brings out the worst in the family. A couple of the things that the family fights over are money, the house, belongings, custody,and many other things.

Welcome to Knoxville Tennessee! If you are in Tennessee you have to stop by Knoxville! This place is filled with fun things for everyone to do. Some of the things Knoxville has to offer are fishing, great restaurants, a zoo, the Sunsphere, Civil War artifacts, and much more. Knoxville is the 3rd biggest city in Tennessee when it comes to population. It is located right near the Tennessee River. The town is surrounded by several lakes, seven lakes actually. The seven lakes and the river make Tennesse a great place for people to come and fish during the spring and summer. Come visit Knoxville Tennessee as it as many things for you and your family and friends to do.  

The book really focus into the family getting into religion. Religion really plays a big part into the story. The book doesn’t only says that Jay’s father was a devoted catholic and so was Mary, Jay’s wife. Jay wasn’t very religious at all. After Jay’s death Mary found herself getting closer with god as she mourned the lose of her husband.

Another theme of the story is being there for you family when they need you the most. After Jay’s death everyone in the family really helped out. Everyone helped with the kids and really overall just being there for each other.
